Marching Band

General Membership

Open to all winds, brass, percussion, and color guard students. Participation is required for all instrumental students.

Concert Band

The sit-down version of the marching band students designed to perform at the Winter Festival Concert.

Pep Band

Dedicated Volunteers

Performs all year at away football games, home basketball games, and other community events.

Percussion Ensemble

General Membership

Made of students enrolled in the Percussion Class. Performs at solo/ensemble festival(s) and all concerts.

Symphonic Winds

General Membership

Required for students enrolled in Cadet Band, Concert Band, and Percussion Ensemble.

Wind Ensemble

Membership by Audition

Open to all winds, brass, and percussion students. Must commit to Wednesday evening rehearsals and additional personal practice. Many students pull double duty, playing in both concert ensembles, but not always on the same instrument.

Cadet Band

General Membership

Required for all 1st-year wind and percussion students. Optional to veteran members on secondary instruments. Attends one adjudicated festival in May.

Jazz Ensemble

Dedicated Volunteers

Standard Big Band instrumentation, many students switch to secondary horns. Concerts and contests late March to May. 

Winter Drumline

Membership by audition

Open to any student, school-wide. Accepted members enroll in 7th-period Instrumental Ensemble and rehearse outside of class time. Competes in the ADLA circuit, Scholastic-A Class.

Winter Guard

Membership by Audition

Open to any student, school-wide. Accepted members enroll in 4th-period Color guard and 7th-period Instrumental Ensemble. Competes in WGASC circuit, Intermediate A-Class.

Small Ensembles

General Membership

Required for all students enrolled in Concert Band. Attends local solo/ensemble  ​festival(s).
